Growing <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">up in South Central Los Angeles, Leslie was unable to participate in such programs <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">due to gang violence in her neighborhood, making this work deeply personal.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Now an industry veteran with a decade of experience, Leslie is a dedicated mentor <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who inspires youth to believe in their potential regardless of their background. Her <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">achievements include certifying Norwood Street Elementary School as a Healthy a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Behavior School Site and creating the virtual fitness program FITNESS during the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">COVID-19 pandemic, which incorporated self-awareness and social-emotional <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Learning.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Leslie&#8217;s passion for community extends beyond her work. In her free time, she enjoys <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">serving her neighborhood, working out, designing cosplays, and rescuing stray <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">animals.
