Mildred brings over 15 years of experience in education as an educator, leader, project manager, and instructional designer. Most recently at UCLA, she made a significant impact through her work at the Career Center and Executive Education, leading teams, managing programs, and creating professional development opportunities.

She holds a Master of Science in Higher Education Leadership and Student Development from California Baptist University, a Teaching Credential from CSU San Bernardino, a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from USC, and certifications in coaching and organizational development. Her background reflects a strong foundation in both education and leadership.

As a Latina, first-generation professional, and daughter of immigrants, Mildred is passionate about expanding access to opportunities for underrepresented communities. She volunteers with organizations that support first-gen students and, in her free time, enjoys family gatherings, board games with friends, and road trips with her husband.
