Gabby Zamora
Gabby has always known she wanted to work with children. Her journey began in high school, volunteering at an elementary school where she fell in love with the students and the inner workings of education. She’s been in the education field for 20 years, with LAUSD as an instructional aide, lead assistant, and special education paraprofessional.
For the last 11 years, she’s also worked part-time as an Elementary Site Coordinator for the afterschool program “A World Fit For Kids!” contributing to a safe and supportive environment for youth and moved up to a Program Enrichment Coordinator ensuring the success of the afterschool program for over a year.
Gabby became a Facilitator who provides workshops and training for staff. Her success in these roles led to her current position as the Middle School Program Manager.
She believes in growth, learning from others, and enjoying the little things in life. She leads by example, puts others first, and celebrates their successes together.
