Preparing Teens for Life Beyond the Classroom
Our high school program is thoughtfully designed to extend learning beyond the school day while providing a supportive, engaging environment. Through hands-on experiences and impactful partnerships, students are encouraged to explore interests, develop critical life skills, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities that come after graduation.
Program Highlights:
📚 Academic & Personal Growth
Students have access to programs that reinforce classroom learning while supporting their social, emotional, and physical well-being in a structured after-school setting.
🤝 Leadership & Advocacy Partnerships
In collaboration with external partners, we provide powerful opportunities for students to lead and grow:
📣 Take Action Campaign (TAC)
Focused on college and career awareness, TAC promotes civic engagement and social advocacy. Students build skills in public speaking, communication, and project management while driving change in their communities.
đźš Advocates for Healthy Choices (AFHC)
Part of the TUPE (Tobacco-Use Prevention Education) initiative, this program educates students on the dangers of tobacco use, empowers them to lead anti-tobacco campaigns, and encourages policy change to promote healthier schools and neighborhoods.
🗣️ Language in Action Program (LAP)
Tailored for International Newcomers and Emergent Bilinguals in grades 9–12, LAP supports language development in reading, writing, speaking, and listening—offering a welcoming, after-school space for English language growth.
🚗 Driver’s Education
Our comprehensive, online Driver’s Ed curriculum prepares students for both the written and driving components of the state exam. Guided by trained staff, students engage in lessons that promote safe driving habits and real-world readiness.
With a focus on leadership, advocacy, academic achievement, and real-world preparedness, our high school program provides students with meaningful opportunities to thrive and take confident steps toward their future.
